The directory of kernel headers does not match your running kernel (2.6.24.4-desktop586-1mnb). Even if the module were to compile successfully, it would not load into the running kernel. What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include]

Am always always running into issues. This time it’s stupid vmware 6.4. I’ve looked up all the forums i could, messed by the system once last night, reinstalled, whined, felt cranky, lamented…BUT there is no known solution for this shit yet. [See]

I had wierd confluence of dreams this morning.

I had dozed off at 12 or so while skypeing at 3 I woke up to remember that and a dream. I was catching up with Marc, who was getting home because I told him I would come see him. But then I was running to catch up with his car.

Funny whereever I went, every hill i rolled down to stop his car, I had the laptop running on AC power nearby, also were 2 elderly people helping me in this adventure.

I also worked out how a picture of Kim Kardashian eating ice cream must have been shot, I saw her in a enclosed place surrounded by men. I saw her in a restaurent seductively watching someone across, I also saw her talking to an old lady who wore floaters and wondered why anyone famous would want to talk to a lady in cheap footwear?

You oughtta have seen MIT’s OpenCourseWare by now.

So I was wondering why is that these regional universities or for that matter Indian Universities adopt teaching material that are released under such licenses that allow material to be freely distributed and used?

Are they inferior in quality to the ones that are printed and published and those that cost a bomb? Is Yashwant Kanetkar’s Java Book more awesome than free Java Notes that are available online under MIT license?

This is what I was thinking over in Distributed Computing Class today.

Considering my 5th semester should end on 31st October (after all the fake jazz of oh it’s the final semester waaa), I have just 122 days left for that iconic day when it’s going to be all over for good.

I don’t even know where to start to lament about the pathetic environment I’ve been in the last 3 years. This semester has just magnified my frustration.

For starters, I have a problem with the system. Our juniors, the lucky “Autonomous Scheme” bastards have subjects that are USEFUL eg: Study of Logic & Algorthms Design (or something like that) and Principles of Programming Languages and we spent the last two years learning shite about flip flops and 8086.

Next, the new faculty is absolutely worthless, but it’s amusing that they are such contradiction to one another. One of them teaches in a way that’s atleast tolerable even though minus a good command over the technical language that should be used but fails to garner any serious attention because of her persona or the lack of it rather, the other one knows absolutely zero but appears very diligent in speech which is absolutely full of SHIT. But such fine details only become apparent if one carefully observes, because otherwise they are masked by that well faked layer of confidence that she’s good at what she does, here’s news Miss, UR FAIL.

Oh top that with my class, which is a convention of retards /me points to the row of boys. I always wish I had classmates like Ano, seriously.

What drives me absolutely crazy is that even though (nobody in my class meets my standard of “people”), is when they demand for notes to be dictated / given. OMFG, and because everbody wants it, the ones who don’t (that would be just me) are left with no choice but to write the dictations of notes in class, can you believe this goddam stupidity?

The big problem is everybody is okay with dumbing themselves down under the pretext of simplicity …if they had a head that could reason out. Fuckin retards.

Do you know how mind numbing it is to study in a environment like this?
